Toch ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how the Toch mobile application, website, and related services collect, use, share, and protect personal and sensitive user data, in compliance with Google Play Developer Program Policies.

1. Information We Collect
When using the Toch application, we may collect and process the following types of data:
Personal Information:
  • Name and profile information
  • Email address
  • Profile photo
  • Social media links, payment-related links, and custom links added by the user
  • NFC tag configuration data
Device and Usage Information:
  • IP address
  • Operating system version
  • Device identifiers and technical diagnostics
  • Crash reports and analytics data
Important Declaration: We do not sell personal data to third parties. User data is never shared with third parties for advertising, marketing, or tracking purposes.

2. How We Use Information
Collected information is strictly used to provide and improve our core features:
  • Create, authenticate, and manage user profiles.
  • Enable core NFC functionality (reading and writing tags).
  • Synchronize profile information securely across your devices.
  • Improve application stability, security, and performance via crash logs.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.

3. NFC Functionality
The application uses NFC features only after direct user interaction.
NFC access is used exclusively for:
  • Writing links or profile data to NFC tags.
  • Reading NFC tags when explicitly initiated by the user.
  • The application does not use NFC functionality in the background.

4. Third-Party Service Providers (Data Sharing)
To operate our service, we use trusted third-party service providers. We share only the minimum necessary data with these providers, and they are restricted from using your data for their own purposes. Our service providers include:
  • Google Firebase & Google Cloud Platform (Firestore, Storage, Hosting, Authentication) for secure cloud database storage and user authentication.
  • Google Sign-In for secure account creation and login.
  • Google Play Services for core Android functionality.

5. Data Storage and Security (Encryption in Transit)
All user data is securely stored using the cloud infrastructure provided by Google Firebase.
Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit using secure HTTPS protocols.
While we use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, please note that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. User Content
Users may upload profile photos and add external links, payment information, and other custom content to their profiles. Users are solely responsible for the content they publish through the application. Toch does not automatically verify or moderate all user-generated content, but reserves the right to remove content that violates our terms.

7. Account and Data Deletion
We provide users with full control over their data. You can request the complete deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time.
How to delete your data:
  • In the App: You can delete your account directly within the Toch app by navigating to Settings -> Delete Account.
  • Via the Web (No app installation required): You can request account and data deletion by visiting our Data Deletion Request page at: https://toch.company/delete-account
  • Via Email: You can also request deletion by contacting support at toch.company@gmail.com.
Data Retention: Upon a verified deletion request, all your personal data, profile information, and associated links will be permanently deleted from our active databases and servers within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

8. Children's Privacy
The Toch application is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years old. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take immediate steps to delete it from our servers.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or regulatory requirements. Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the application after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
